Nu-Pipe, LLC is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Video Pipe Inspection Operators to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate specialized equipment to inspect stormwater pipelines and other underground utilities using remote-controlled cameras. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret and document inspection findings accurately. Essential Job Accountabilities:


  • Operate robotic CCTV cameras, push cameras, and related equipment to inspect and record underground pipelines.
  • Assist with mobilization, traffic control, plug/dam installation, dewatering and liner installations when necessary.
  • Record accurate data, including pipe measurements, locations, and inspection findings.
  • Communicate inspection results to supervisors and clients in a clear and concise manner, daily.
  • Clean, service & maintain camera equipment and software as well as assigned vehicles.
  • Communicate changes in scope/conditions to supervisor when encountered.
  • Complete STA/JSA daily and safely set up and use equipment necessary for day-to-day operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices related to pipeline CCTV. Arrive at the office or job site on time and ready to work.
  • Work when scheduled and comply with the company attendance policy.
  • Travel to various job sites as required.


Qualifications


  • A valid driver's license is required and pass a DOT drug test.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating CCTV pipeline inspection equipment.
  • NASSCO PACP certified.
  • Competence in CCTV inspection software and data entry.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and follow OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges in the field.
  • Must be able to adhere to confined space entry protocols and other safety procedures.
  • Must adhere to safety policies and procedures, contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and demonstrate proficiency in wearing and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Must not be fearful of exposure to creek or pond water.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
  • CDL a plus.
  • Florida resident or willing to relocate.


Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:


  • Work may be performed in industrial settings and outdoor environments, exposing employees to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, noise, mechanical and electrical hazards, odors, and fumes. The role requires the ability to enter confined spaces as needed and lift up to 50 lbs. Physical demands include climbing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, prolonged standing, and using hands and fingers to operate tools.


Travel Requirements:


  • Must be willing and capable of traveling weekly as required and on weekends as needed.
