Park Animal Hospital is a growing two-doctor family owned and operated small animal veterinary hospital in the beautiful coastal town of Darien CT. Our clinic is recently renovated and nicely equipped with everything you need to keep your job fun. We pride ourselves on teamwork and a warm, caring approach toward our clients and patients. We are seeking a Full-Time veterinary assistant to join our team.
We are looking for self-motivated and reliable individuals. Candidates must possess good customer communications skills, excellent work ethics and be a considerate team player. All applicants should have previous veterinary experience and or working in an animal hospital.
Answering phones and scheduling appointments
Prepping files for appointments/surgeries
Recording progress reports on patients
Educating clients
Assisting Doctors and technicians with restraining & handling patients
Set up of equipment
Going over intake/discharge instructions
Cleaning instruments
Facility sanitation
