VENTURA, CA - A sweet Ventura family located near HW126/Telegraph Rd. are seeking to hire a FULL-TIME NANNY with a schedule between 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. They have two kids ages 1 and 3 years old (32 hours a week guaranteed). Hourly rate being offered is $25 hr., with significant paid time off. They do have an older dog in the home so you must be pet friendly. The job starts asap for the right candidate. Both parents work inside and outside of the home on various days.

The ideal Nanny for this job is someone who is kind and who likes playing with kids; who can get creative with kid activities (Bubbles outside, freeze tag, kids music on, picnic outside for lunch, making a fort in the living room, popsicles outside etc..), can keep two kids safe and has experience with a 1 year old and a 3 year old (preferably); is on-time every day - this is a must! Someone who takes initiative, and doesn’t mind asking “what else can I do†(during kids nap times); knows how to be professional in the home and not on their phone during work hours unless it's an emergency or work related. They are looking for a nanny who will become an integral part of our family long-term, and it's essential to them that you feel valued, appreciated and welcomed into our family.

Daily Nanny duties include watching/supervising/playing with kids and keeping them safe; being creative with crafts/games inside and outside, meal prep for kids, help stay on nap routine already out in place; minimize tv to 1 hr a day if they are watching, and light cleaning around the home during nap time (just enough for it to be tidy and organized when parents get home). The family prefers a nanny who is an active participant in learning and development, someone who encourages imaginative play, outdoor exploration, and fun activities for the kids to do each day. All standard nanny duties, including cooking for the children, packing lunches, children’s laundry, light housekeeping, letting the dog out, and unloading and loading the dishwasher.
