The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), located in coastal Charleston, SC, has an exciting opportunity for a clinician-educator Gastroenterologist to serve as an Transplant Hepatologist in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Job Description

Ideal Candidates:

• Completed an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship
  
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in Gastroenterology
  
• Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
  
• Completion of a 4th year of transplant hepatology training required
  
• Commitment to clinical research
  

Opportunity Details:

• Join a highly collegial team of 22 clinical faculty and 9 APPs comprised of general GIs, Hepatologists, GI subspecialists, and advanced Endoscopists
  
• Expand outpatient clinics throughout Charleston and the State
  
• Inpatient coverage in rotation with other hepatologists
  
• Call in rotation with other general GI and Hepatology faculty
  
• A dedicated clinical support team of coordinators, transplant staff
  
• Strong collaborative support from Transplant surgery, GI pathology, GI radiology, and Pediatric GI
  
• Integrated practice model with a robust internal referral network
  
• GI-dedicated clinical research infrastructure
  
• 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite
