Travel Baseball Coach

Looking for a youth travel coach to help lead a group of young, talented players (ages 8-13 yrs old). Someone who is energetic, positive, loves working with kids is essential. We would prefer if you have high school baseball or softball playing experience.

• Schedule: Dec - June
  
• Comp: $20-40/hour
  
• Practices: 1-2 days/week starting in January, then 2-3 days/week come Spring Time
  
• Looking for experienced players/coaches who have played High School Baseball and have coaching experience
  

Locations: Highland Park and Deerfield, IL

Responsibilities:

• Incorporate new techniques into practice sessions.
  
• Coach players on baseball fundamentals.
  
• Have fun with the kids!
  
• Brings tons of energy!
  

1. Lead and guide groups of young children in sports activities, creating a positive and inclusive environment.

2. Introduce innovative techniques and drills during practice sessions to enhance players' skills.

3. Coach players on the fundamental principles of the sport, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

4. Serve as a mentor and positive role model for young athletes, fostering character development and promoting sportsmanship.

5. Ensure punctuality and efficiently check-in students for classes and camps.

6. Effectively manage classroom settings, demonstrating exceptional time and behavior management skills.

7. Create a fun and engaging learning environment that encourages active participation and enjoyment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
