Training Center Manager

Position Summary

--------------------

Manage, plan and coordinate the organizational learning programming and training through the Transit Training Center. Oversee the coordination, planning, supervision, and implementation of motorcoach and other trainings provided within the assigned program in support of the Transit Department goals and objectives. Program areas could include but are not limited to commercial driver's license operator trainings, team building, competency building, and organizational efficiency improvements utilizing various training methodologies, learning platforms and support systems available to address the ABQ Ride Employee Training Center goals, objectives and priorities.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements

Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology;

and

Six (6) years experience in Organizational Development, or Training;

and

To include five (5) years direct supervisory experience.

A Master's degree in Organizational Development is preferred.

WorkKeys assessment preferred: Reading for Information, Locating Information, Workplace Observation, Business Writing.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possession of a New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.

Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
