Crystal Lake School District 47 has an opening for a Title I Elementary Interventionist. The goal of this position is to provide academic and behavioral interventions for students in Title I buildings based on student needs as identified through the MTSS framework.
+ Facilitate data collection, data-based problem solving and data-based decision making through the guidelines of the MTSS framework
+ Provide flexible interventions to students identified through the MTSS framework utilizing a variety of tools and resources
+ Plan and implement academic and/or behavioral instruction for small groups of students
+ Assess the progress of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required
+ Communicate with families, teachers, and administrators regarding the progress of students
+ Maintain and improve professional competency through trainings and other staff development opportunities
+ Attends staff meetings at building and district level and serve on committees as needed
+ Participate in curriculum development and district initiatives
+ Participate in faculty committees and student activities
+ Report to building administrators
+ Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (elementary)
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Education
+ Teaching Experience with English Learners
+ Student teaching and/or experience in a K-5 classroom (preferred)
+ Demonstrate high levels of flexibility, effective interpersonal communication skills, articulation, concentration, confidentiality, and organization.
+ Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, walking and lifting equipment and materials.
