Tire Technician

Principal Duties


  • Mount, dismount, rotate, balance and fix flat tires.
  • Conduct general safety inspections.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Safely operate vehicle lifts, tire machines, floor jacks and stands.
  • Conduct inspection process utilizing technology and following established standards.
  • Communicate inspection results with Crew Chief, Salesperson, Service Writer or other team member as directed for customer work approval. Note all safety concerns.
  • Performs to the highest industry standards specified duties as determined by customer sales work order. Deliver on all promises made to the customer.
  • Other shop duties as assigned by Crew Chief, Service Writer, Management or others as needed.

Experience & Requirements:


  • Proficiency in automotive service maintenance software preferred
  • Knowledge of automotive tires, wheels and repair processes and terminology preferred
  • Must have the flexibility to work weekends and other scheduled shifts, varied between 7:00am - 7:30pm.


Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:


Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.


Very heavy work - Exerting more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or more than 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.

Job Type: Full-time, up to 40 hours, overtime as needed


Work Location: In person - Must be located near the job site


Pay: $37,000-$45,000 annual, with additional bonus potential
