Attorney needed! In this role, you will provide legal support, as Staff Attorney, for the State of Illinois Business and Therapy Prosecutions Program. Performs highly specialized technical assistance and participates directly as an expert on whose advice key decision makers rely on in formulating administrative policies for interpreting the assigned acts, rules, regulations and judicial decisions of assigned acts. Travels to conduct formal and informal hearings on complaints alleging violations under assigned acts. Institutes licensure disciplinary proceedings in the Department against a licensee accused of irregular practice under assigned acts. Conducts research and provides expert legal advice to professional licensing and disciplinary boards.
