TADSS Instructor

Job Title: Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Operator

Overview: Contingent upon the contract award, Warfighting System Solutions (WFSS) is seeking eight (8) skilled ADA TADSS Operators with a current CompTIA Security+ certification and (8) experienced ADA TADSS Operators to support the 30th Air Defense Artillery Brigade at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. These professionals will provide direct support for training simulations, system operability, and network configuration across a wide array of Air Defense Artillery systems.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for operating simulators, task trainers, virtual trainers, along with maintenance and operation, and associated supplies and equipment to meet training needs.
  
• Set up, operate, task trainers, computerized simulators and virtual reality procedural trainers, audio-video recording system and simulation supplies to meet training objectives.
  
• Conduct a scenario pre-brief and assist the instructor with after action report (debrief) if needed.
  
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of simulation expertise and support to standardized courses which lend themselves to simulation.
  
• Support simulation needs of other formalized training programs as appropriate.
  
• Assess the suitability of simulation scenarios already developed and make recommendations to adopt or adapt them as appropriate.
  
• Work with the Modeling & Simulation (M&S) equipment custodian to develop a current inventory for all M&S equipment and supplies at their site.
  
• Develop troubleshooting checklists, simulator procedures, and lesson plans for M&S equipment.
  
• Recommend ways to integrate simulation into organizational training initiatives.
  
• Facilitate simulation training and provide feedback to the Course Director.
  
• Provide oversight of all simulation encounters to include after action reports (AAR) of simulation training.
  

Qualifications:

• Current and valid CompTIA Security+ certification (must be maintained throughout employment for those hired in this category) Those hired without CompTIA Security+ will work towards certification during employment.
  
• Possess an active SECRET clearance.
  
• Graduate of any ADA MOS course, OR Minimum 3 years of air and missile defense experience, OR Minimum 1 year of experience operating ADA TADSS.
  
• Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
  
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  
• Familiarity with various ADA weapon systems and simulators (Patriot, THAAD, SHORAD, etc.)
