Shift: 30-40 hours a week
- Assist sushi chefs in preparing sushi rolls, sashimi, and other menu items.
- Prepare sushi ingredients (cut vegetables, slice fish, cook rice, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi preparation area.
- Ensure all kitchen tools, equipment, and surfaces are sanitized and ready for use.
- Stock and replenish supplies as needed.
- Assist with food plating and ensuring presentation meets the restaurant�s standards.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and servers to provide a seamless dining experience.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Ensure that all prepared items are fresh, of high quality, and meet our high standards.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food prep role is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
