Supervisor of Community Services

The Supervisor of Community Services provides oversight for the daily operations of Domestic Violence (DV), Sexual Assault (SA), and Prevention, Outreach, and Education (POE) programs. This role ensures effective implementation of services, supervises program staff, and leads training initiatives. The Senior Supervisor develops relationships with key stakeholders to enhance community awareness of The Center’s services and collaborates to address social issues related to intimate partner and sexual violence in the service area. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, staff development, data-informed decision-making, and program alignment with agency priorities and funding requirements.

• Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of program goals-address gaps in services and advocate for resources to close those gaps.
  
• Prioritize and delegate tasks, contribute to grant applications and reports.
  
• Ensure crisis response and prevention initiatives align with best practices and funding requirements.
  
• Lead and engage in performance improvement, professional development, and program management-ensure competent service delivery, recommend corrective action and termination, and provide initial and ongoing training to staff.
  
• Represent The Center at community events, coalition meetings, and collaborative projects.
  
• Coordinate and maintain internal and external communication using Office 365.
  
• Maintain and monitor quality assurance on monthly statistics, reports, client files, documentation, resources, and procedure manuals.
  
• Use data to identify and remedy issues in service delivery and unmet needs of clients and the community.
  
• Provide mobile support and crisis response services as needed.
  
• Provide advocacy services.
  

• Foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative team culture.
  
• Supervise and provide professional development opportunities for program staff, including Community Advocates, Coordinators, and Lead staff.
  
• Implement coaching, shadowing, and performance feedback to support staff growth.
  
• Lead and engage in regular 1:1 meetings, team meetings, and committee discussions.
  
• Provide mentorship and performance feedback to program team members.
  
• Coordinate and oversee staff training, including onboarding and continuing education.
  
• Participate in the review, interview, and hiring process for new staff members.
  
• Ensure survivors� voices are represented in program decision-making.
  
• Ensure that all employees adhere to policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  

• Monitor program outcomes to evaluate service effectiveness and ensure grant compliance.
  
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per agency and funder guidelines.
  
• Lead audits and compliance monitoring efforts.
  
• Use secure, approved documentation systems to ensure confidentiality.
  
• Ensure adherence to state reporting guidelines for abuse and neglect.
  

• Manage program budget, including purchase cards and gift cards.
  
• Approve purchase requisitions and reconcile credit card statements.
  
• Participate in budget meetings with the Senior Director of Community Programs.
  
• Control review performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement for cost reduction and program improvement.
  

• Complete required training and participate in continuing education opportunities.
  
• Participate in coverage needs and requests across programs.
  
• Engage in special projects and program initiatives as needed.
  
• Ensure that all standards, requirements, and outcomes established by grantors are met.
  

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• Additional training or coursework in social services, human services, or a related field preferred.
  
• Must maintain at least 16 hours of continuing education annually, including 6 hours specific to sexual assault.
  
• 3 to 5 years of experience in program supervision, case management, crisis intervention, or a related field.
  
• Experience in trauma-informed advocacy and service delivery preferred.
  
• On-the-job training required (approximately 3 to 6 months).
  
• Must have a valid driver�s license and maintain a driving record that meets agency automobile insurance requirements, if operating a company vehicle.
  
• Must have a successful background check.

• Proficiency in Office 365, smartphones, and web-based documentation systems.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Must have a valid driver�s license and maintain a driving record that meets CWF automobile insurance requirements, if operating a company vehicle.
  
• Must have a successful background check.
  
• Moderate physical activity may be required.
  
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and up to 70 lbs with assistance.
  
• Regular travel across the Southern Indiana service area is required.
  
• Ability to work in high-stress environments, requiring emotional resilience and adherence to self-care practices.
