Supervisor Accounts Payable

Join our dynamic finance team as an Accounts Payable Supervisor, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our Accounts Payable department. This leadership position ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of financial transactions across both Hospital and Physician entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable team, providing daily operational support and guidance.
  
• Prioritize departmental activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
  
• Maintain precise accounts payable records and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  
• Foster strong working relationships with internal departments and external vendors to support seamless financial operations.
  
• Oversee master file setup and maintenance, including troubleshooting and coordinating system upgrades and enhancements.
  
• Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to resolve processing issues and test system improvements.
  
• Support month-end close activities, including accrual preparation and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
  
• Manage the annual 1099 reporting process for all entities.
  
• Oversee and facilitate the escheatment process in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Education, Licenses & Certifications

• Bachelor�s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  
• If qualifying by experience, a high school diploma or GED (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education) is required.
  

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of increasingly responsible experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  
• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable supervision experience (preferred).
  
• Minimum 2 years of accounting-related experience (preferred).
  
• Minimum 2 years of computerized accounts payable experience (required).
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Form 1099 filing, escheatment filing, non-resident withholding, and Form 592 filing.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with time and attendance systems is preferred.
  
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
