The Diocese of Dallas is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven, and visionary leader to serve as Superintendent of Catholic Schools. The Superintendent is considered a part of the ministry of the Catholic Church and the Superintendent is required to perform duties in line with the religious tradition of the Catholic Church throughout his or her daily activities. The Superintendent serves as the chief administrative officer for Catholic schools within the Diocese and is responsible for the leadership, support, and advancement of Catholic education in alignment with the teachings of the Catholic Church and the vision of the Bishop.
The Superintendent provides strategic oversight of all elementary and secondary Catholic schools in the Diocese, ensuring academic excellence, faith formation, financial sustainability, and effective governance across the school system. This is a critical leadership role at a pivotal time in the life of Catholic education in the Diocese of Dallas, marked by the newly enacted Education Savings Account (ESA) law, the launch of Mother Teresa Catholic School, and the diocesan-wide capital campaign for Catholic education, each presenting powerful opportunities for growth, renewal, and lasting impact.
