Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of young children. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, implementing effective classroom management strategies, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's development.


Duties


  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and promote respectful behavior among students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Support children with special needs through individualized instruction and behavior management strategies.
  • Incorporate various teaching methods including arts, sports, and play-based learning to enhance the educational experience.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other educators, staff, and parents to create a supportive community for students' growth.


Skills


  • Strong classroom management skills to effectively guide student behavior.
  • Knowledge of first aid practices to ensure student safety in emergencies.
  • Experience in special education or working with children who have diverse learning needs.
  • Proven teaching skills with experience in early childhood education settings.
  • Background in childcare, daycare, or babysitting is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with students in various capacities such as tutoring, camp counseling, sports coaching, or theater programs.
  • Understanding of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning activities.

Schedule


  • Start Immediately.
  • 1. Now until August 29, 2025 (Full Time position 8:30 - 5:15 includes unpaid break)
  • 2. September 4 - Decemeber TBD (No holidays) 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour


Expected hours: 40 per week
