Gill-Montague Regional School DistrictSchool Nurse Sub (RN or LPN)JOB GOAL: To support the building-based school nurses in district schools in providing health services to students of Gill-Montague Regional School District. QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Massachusetts2.Current CPR/AED certification3.Experience as a nurse in pediatrics, community or public health preferred4.Experience with the electronic software program, SNAP, preferred5.Flexibility to work in different settings and with various age levels6.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team7.Excellent communication and organizational skillsREPORTS TO: Director of Pupil Services and Building Principals PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: The School Nurse Sub will perform, or will work with other nurses in performing, the daily operation of the school health offices. The School Nurse Sub will be assigned to cover nursing absences or to the school with greatest need for support, as deemed by the Director of Pupil Services. Orientation to be provided as needed.
