Bridgemark, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Fee-for-Service Counselor to facilitate group and individual counseling sessions across our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), outpatient, and residential services.
Evening sessions are available Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and Saturday IOP sessions are available from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Counselors are not required to be available all four evenings. Hours may include 3-hour IOP groups, 60-minute clinical groups, and/or individual counseling sessions depending on program needs and counselor availability.
The counselor will facilitate evidence-based psychoeducational and therapeutic group sessions, conduct 3-hour IOP groups and 60-minute clinical groups, and provide individual counseling sessions as needed. Timely and accurate documentation of all services in the electronic health record (EHR) is required. The role also involves collaborating with clinical supervisors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated client care. Counselors must maintain compliance with all ethical, professional, and regulatory standards and promote a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and recovery-oriented group environment.
Active Rhode Island license required (LCDP, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
Experience in substance use treatment or behavioral health preferred
Strong group facilitation and documentation skills
Familiarity with ASAM criteria and 42 CFR Part 2
