The new
Student Wellness Center (SWC) is a 165,000 square foot facility that opened in August 2024. The new facility enhances the integrated and holistic model of student health and wellbeing at MSU. Student Wellness includes three departments including Campus Recreation, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Student Health Services. Additionally, the Student Wellness office core includes facility operations, health education and promotion programs, basic needs, and administrative support for all of Student Wellness. Each of the three department has a Business Operations Manager. This position will be housed in the SW office area supporting and overseeing the day-to-day business operations of the office, supervising student workers, assisting the Associate Vice President with high-level administrative needs, human resources, payroll, and purchasing. The SW BOM will work closely with the shared services staff within SW including budget, human resources, and communications, as well as work closely with the other SW BOMS.This job description should not be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements, but a general description of the job.
