About the Role

This hybrid Strategic Finance & Data Analytics role is a high-impact position working directly with the VP of Finance. You’ll play a key role in forecasting, budgeting, pricing, FP&A, and data strategy, while introducing cutting-edge technology & AI capabilities to build scalable systems and automate insights.

You’ll work cross-functionally across the company:

• With Product: Help validate and influence roadmap investments using deep data insights

What you’ll do

Big Data & Strategic Analytics: Use AI and modern data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, BI platforms) to build HiBid’s scalable data analytics engine. Deliver actionable insights to Product and GTM teams.

Strategic Finance: Build and manage budgets, financial models, and forecasts. Partner with the VP of Finance on strategic pricing, growth planning, and potential M&A initiatives.

Reporting Ownership: Maintain and enhance our reporting packages for capital partners and stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

• 5-10 years of progressive FP&A and/or strategic finance experience
  
• 5-10 years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance
  
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Power BI (or equivalent tools)
  
• Strong experience with AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and building AI agents
  
• 3-5 years in technology, preferably SaaS or marketplace environments
  
• Deep understanding of key software metrics: ARR, NDR, churn, CLTV, CAC, payback period, attach rates, etc.
  
• Confidence working with large operational datasets (millions of records)
  
• Ability to connect analytical insights to broader business strategy
  
• Bonus: Entrepreneurial experience or background in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or consulting
