Position Summary:

Artistree Landscaping is seeking a skilled and licensed Spray Technician to join our growing commercial maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for a professional who takes pride in plant health and turf care, and who thrives in an outdoor, team-oriented environment.

The Spray Technician is responsible for applying herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers to commercial landscape properties with precision and safety. You’ll help maintain the health and beauty of lawns, trees, shrubs, and beds throughout the Treasure Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

· Diagnose turf and ornamental plant issues including disease, insect, and weed problems

· Identify plants and turf types to ensure correct treatment approach

· Prepare and apply chemical mixtures safely and effectively

· Operate and maintain spray equipment and service vehicles

· Maintain detailed application records in accordance with state and EPA regulations

· Ensure personal, team, and client safety at all times

· Communicate professionally with team members and occasionally with clients

· Support other Artistree divisions as needed

Qualifications:

· Minimum 1 year of spray technician experience in landscape maintenance

· Valid Idaho Applicator License with current endorsements:

• Core Competency
  
• Ornamental Pest (OP) or Ornamental Herbicide (OH)
  

· Strong understanding of turf and plant health care

· Clean, valid driver’s license

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in various conditions, and handle equipment safely

· Reliable transportation

Pay & Benefits:

· Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
