About the position...


Specialist I, Financial Support (Call Center), is responsible for delivering white glove experience to our merchants. In this role, you will provide financial support to merchants, assisting with payment processing, troubleshooting financial-related issues, and ensuring smooth transactions. You will work closely with clients to resolve concerns and provide a reliable, secure service.


Responsibilities:


  • Support our merchants with payment processing and financial related inquiries.
  • Effectively manage a queue of incoming tickets and calls on a day-to-day basis, including follow-ups in a timely fashion.
  • Work with timeframes in compliance with company KPI�s standards.
  • Assists in the resolution for point-of-sale product issues and basic troubleshooting.
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken in a comprehensible manner.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with merchants and ensure merchant processing is reliable and secure.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of experience in Customer Service role with a proven track record of success.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English IS A MUST.
  • This role is on-site and will be based in our San Juan, Puerto Rico headquarters.
  • Related experience in customer service and/ or call center environment.


Skills:


  • Some industry knowledge on credit card payment processing operations, technology, and POS equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Quick, analytical, and creative thinking abilities.
  • Ability to exhibit solution-oriented problem-solving approach and maintain objectivity.
  • Self-motivated, team player, detail oriented, and well organized.
