What is Adelante Document Destruction?Adelante Document Destruction is a secure, AAA NAID-certified shredding service that provides confidential document destruction for businesses, healthcare providers, and individuals across New Mexico. We help protect private information and the environment by securely recycling tons of paper - all while creating meaningful jobs for people with disabilities.
- Perform sorting of loose and collected paper from various customers and contracts into multiple paper grades
- Perform equipment maintenance (clean, oil, and grease machine parts) and perform bailing tasks.
- Responsible for loading and unloading trucks; move supplies and paper materials with hand trucks, collection bins or other conveyances.
- Operates sort conveyor machines.
- Performs facility maintenance duties.
- Assists with training other personnel as required.
- Participates in the ISP process, team meetings, and time-study process; and prepares associated written documentation.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- One (1) year general work experience preferred.
- Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms.
Job Type: Full-Time
Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 4:30pmPay: From $15.60 per hour
