Software Developer - C#

American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, is seeking a Software Developer to join our team. This is an on-site position, and candidates must be able to commute daily to our office in Sandy, UT.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs.
  • Testing and providing feedback to management during the development process.
  • Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment.
  • Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications.
  • Working toward participating in the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
  • Writing, building, and deployment of software.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including C# .Net.
  • Database and cache: Familiarity with DBMS technology including SQLServer.
  • Basic software design ability: Ability to start a project with minimal guidance.
  • Knowledge of interfacing with REST services.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand a component of a proposed system and be able to build it with guidance.
  • Preferred experience in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries including Angular or AngularJS and jQuery.
  • Preferred experience working with Windows and Linux servers.


Educational/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor�s degree and 0-2 years experience in Software Development.
  • Or associate�s degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
  • A willingness to travel to the office is a must.
