Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital is searching for a
Full-Time Social Worker to work 40 hours per week.As part of
The Queen’s Health Systems, we are dedicated to improving the health of Native Hawaiians and all of the people of Hawai‘i. We’re working to fulfill the mission of Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV to provide in perpetuity quality health care services.- Performs functions related to enhancing the social and emotional functioning of patients and their families within the Queen�s North Hawaii Community Hospital and/or out-patient services.
- Performs duties in accordance with departmental and Queen�s North Hawaii Community Hospital policies and procedures.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
- Master's degree in Social Work.
- Current Hawaii State license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). Depending upon area of assignment, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) may be preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver's license in accordance with Hawaii state law rules and regulations.
- Driver's abstract or evidence of good driving record.
- Certification from the National Association of Social Workers in the Academy of
- Certified Social Workers (ACSW) preferred.
- Current BLS/HCP certification.
- In addition to the education/certification and licensure requirement, five (5) years work experience in working on mechanical or electrical devices with at least two (2) years work experience as a Biomedical Technician, preferably in a comparable organization.
- Experience as a lead person or practice in an area of specialized equipment.
