Summary:


The Secondary Teacher (grades 6-12) is responsible for the instruction of


designated content area(s)/course(s) in a classroom setting within a secondary school.

Maintains appropriate certifications and professional development hours as required.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Professional Educator Certificate preferred. Eligibility


for Florida Temporary Certificate required.

situations where only limited standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished

Computer Skills: Knowledge of relevant and current computer software programs.

Physical Activities: Standing, walking, sitting, handling, keyboarding, talking, and hearing.


Lifting Demands: Up to 10 pounds.


Reaching Activities: Both dominant and non-dominant hand; overhead.
