Your Role as a Teacher

As a teacher in LKSD, you will:

• Maintain high expectations for academic success and positive behavior.
  

• Administer assessments to measure growth, mastery, and instructional effectiveness.
  

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  

• Identify and support students at risk with targeted intervention strategies.
  

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and the community.
  

• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and families to create a supportive learning environment.
  

• Participate actively in professional development and engage with the community in school and advisory committee meetings.
