What you'll do...


As the SMB Services Project Manager, you will help plan and carry out integration projects that involve various people, processes, and components. You’ll focus on supporting project execution in alignment with organizational goals, particularly for data migrations, software implementations, and office integrations. You’ll also contribute to building strong working relationships with project sponsors, participants, stakeholders, and customers, while helping track progress and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Day to day, you’ll…* Support the successful delivery of integration projects, including data migrations, software implementations, and office integrations
  • Translate business needs from customers and acquisition offices into actionable project objectives and deliverables
  • Help identify key factors that may influence project timelines, resources, costs, quality, and risk
  • Assist in gathering and organizing the resources needed to move projects forward
  • Contribute to planning efforts around quality assurance, change management, and communications
  • Apply and refine integration playbooks to promote consistency and repeatable outcomes
  • Collaborate on building and executing project plans, tracking progress across scope, schedule, quality, costs, resources, and risks
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams during acquisition transitions and integration activities
  • Participate in post-integration reviews to capture insights and support ongoing improvements
  • Carry out data migration tasks while helping to manage integration-related challenges and risks
  • Coordinate resource usage across multiple integration efforts to ensure efficiency
  • Document project outcomes for stakeholder visibility and future reference
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs to operational teams and partners by organizing transition meetings, updating documentation, and communicating next steps
  • Maintain alignment across teams during transitions to ensure clarity on responsibilities and project status
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support integration success


What you'll bring to the team... Education:* Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered


Skills:* Demonstrated ability to support complex projects with multiple stakeholders and interdependencies
  • Familiarity with integration and migration best practices
  • Solid organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience contributing to project plans, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes
  • Ability to help identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and supporting vendor relationships
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
  • Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively


It would be even better if you also had... Work Experience:* Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in integration, data migration, software implementation, or office acquisition environments

Pay Range Information


The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
