Minimum requirements include the following:
Provides supportive services to Administrator, Staff Development or Resident Care Coordinator and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
Coordinates dining room services at assigned mealtimes, including set-up and clean-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance (only after receiving training), and documentation of meal intake.
Answer call lights.
Making beds, stocking and distributing clean linens and towels.
Pass ice and fresh water to residents twice daily.
Assist nursing assistants with distributing snacks according the facility schedule.
Keeps nurse and supervisor informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform the work as assigned (i.e. resident refusal, reassigned to nursing unit).
Reports changes in a resident’s condition to the resident’s nurse and supervisor.
Answers phones and greets visitors
