Ski and Snowboard Repair Technician

Overview:

The Ski and Snowboard Repair Technician provides high-quality customer service and product expertise while supporting the daily operations of the repair shop. Our ideal candidate is passionate about mountain sports, enjoys working with their hands, and brings a keen attention to detail. While one year of repair experience is preferred, we’re happy to train motivated individuals eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Tune, repair, and maintain skis and snowboards based on guest needs and equipment condition
  
• Complete brand-specific ski binding certifications (training provided)
  
• Operate tuning machines and hand tools safely and efficiently
  
• Offer accurate and helpful product information for all brands carried by Big Sky Resort
  
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting all guests promptly and warmly
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked repair area
  
• Handle point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and follow security protocols
  
• Support the Boyne Rewards sign-up and loyalty program
  
• Share knowledge of resort property, activities, and surrounding areas with guests
  
• Participate in required retail training and proactively seek continued learning opportunities
  

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Detail-oriented and accurate
  
• Familiarity with retail POS systems is a plus
  
• Self-motivated and proactive
  

• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and reach overhead frequently
  
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 35 pounds unassisted
  
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs assisted
  
• Comfortable using stairs while carrying boxes or equipment
  
• Able to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks
  
• Comfortable climbing ladders as needed
