Located in Asheville, North Carolina, Evergreen Community Charter School is a tuition-free, public school serving approximately 440 students in grades K-8. Teach the sixth grade NC Standard Course of Study for ELA and SS through an expeditionary learning model, emphasizing integrated, differentiated instruction, experiential learning, collaborative planning and teaching, student responsibility, environmental education, and community involvement. Practice formative and summative assessment, provide critical feedback and guidance, establish rapport with students and parents, and work collaboratively with the sixth grade team.
