We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to incidents.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities within designated areas.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to alarms or incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Document any incidents or suspicious activities in detail for further investigation.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in loss prevention strategies.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding security operations and any potential threats.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security management is a plus.
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
