Roto-Rooter Tulsa is hiring a shop assistant to support our plumbing fleet. If you enjoy working with your hands, learning new skills, and fixing things, this role is a great fit.
You will be trained to work on everything from small engines and vans to pumps, welding, and electrical systems. No experience? No problem. Bring a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, we will handle the rest. You will also help with basic tasks like shop cleanup and yard work, but no two days are the same.
This role requires reliability, mechanical curiosity, and the ability to work in all types of weather. CDL training will be part of the job. Pay ranges from $12-$15 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Shows up on time, ready to work, and follows through on assigned tasks with attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Assists with maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and vehicles, including plumbing tools, small engines, pumps, and service vans. All while learning from experienced team members.
- Supports the team by helping clean and organize the shop, maintain equipment, and complete outdoor tasks such as mowing and yard upkeep.
- Keeps accurate records of completed work, parts used, and tasks performed, and helps ensure tools and equipment are ready for the next job.
- Moves efficiently from one task to the next with a positive attitude and a willingness to step in wherever needed.
