Locally owned for over 30 years. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Service Writer/ Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating automotive service operations, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of automotive service processes.
- Manage incoming service requests and schedule appointments for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate with customers to understand their automotive needs and provide accurate information regarding services.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Utilize auto estimating software to prepare quotes for customers based on service requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in aligning service operations with sales goals by promoting additional services or products as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service operations.
- Previous experience in automotive service or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with auto estimating, vehicle maintenance, and service writing is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
