Weirs Buick GMC is seeking an experienced and driven
Service Manager to join our leadership team. You’ll oversee a talented group of 4 Service Advisors, a Shop Foreman, and 13 Technicians, while also coordinating with our Body Shop and Express Oil Change Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who can coach, motivate, and drive performance across a well-established service department.- Supervise daily operations of service advisors, technicians, and foreman
- Collaborate with the Service Director to oversee all fixed operations
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including hours per RO, effective labor rate, and technician proficiency
- Promote a culture of consistency and accountability across all departments
- Implement and manage processes that ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Coach advisors and technicians to reach individual and team goals
- Assist with workflow coordination between service, express lane, and body shop teams
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to manage and improve systems and processes
- Deep understanding of dealership fixed operations
- Comfort working with experienced teams and driving positive change
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Tekion DMS a plus
