Full-Time Service Assistant I to support our Environmental Services team in delivering exceptional care and comfort to our patients, visitors, and staff.

Schedule:

• Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  
• Includes: Every other weekend and holiday rotation

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in patient rooms, offices, and public areas
  
• Ensure all carts and equipment are clean, organized, and safely stored
  
• Restock paper and soap supplies throughout the hospital
  
• Clean and disinfect precaution rooms following infection control protocols
  
• Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens
  
• Respond promptly to Environmental Services calls and texts
  
• Report maintenance issues to supervisors
  
• Attend departmental training sessions
  
• Uphold a helpful, courteous, and service-oriented attitude throughout your shift
  

What You Bring

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma preferred
  
• Two years of customer service experience preferred
  

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  
• Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness
  
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  
• Commitment to confidentiality and patient privacy
  
• Comfortable using smartphones or PDAs for job assignments
  

Special Requirements:

• Must access email for organizational communication
  

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting
  

Working Conditions:

• Potential exposure to infectious diseases (with proper precautions)
  
• Safety glasses must be worn at all times
