Server/Waiter

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing their orders and requests.

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
  
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  
• Deliver food and drinks promptly to guests, ensuring all items are presented beautifully.
  
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
  
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  
• Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail.
  
• Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
  

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
  
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
  
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
  
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
  
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous.
  
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, enhancing communication with kitchen staff.
  
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
