Server/Waiter

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and an eagerness to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, taking orders, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and satisfied.

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, including specials.
  
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Square POS system
  
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
  
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and overall ambiance.
  
• Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of culinary practices.
  
• Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding effectively to requests.
  

• Previous experience in a server role within a fine dining establishment is preferred.
  
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  
• Familiarity with sales techniques, particularly in upselling menu items.
  
• Knowledge of food preparation processes is a plus, enhancing your ability to answer guest inquiries confidently.
  
• Experience using Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
