We are seeking an experienced, reliable server with a passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
- Greet guests warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests. Engage with patrons to recommend drinks and dishes, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods. Stay informed about cocktail, wine, draft beers, and any changes to the menu.
- Write down guests� orders and enter orders into POS.
- Serve food and beverages to guests and tend to any additional needs the guest may have. Refill drinks as needed and remove empty plates and glasses from tables, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food, drinks and service and respond promptly and courteously to our guests needs.
- Clean and reset tables after guests have finished dining.
- Occasionally assist host or hostess by answering phones, taking to-go orders, greeting, seating, and thanking guests.
- Prepare dining room for dinner service, including setting up tables with linens, silverware, and glassware.
- Stock service areas with supplies. Roll silverware and perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors and taking out trash.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience serving in a fast paced restaurant.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, with a knack for anticipating and meeting guest needs.
- Thorough knowledge of menu items including cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and food.
- Proficiency in multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with PosiTOUCH POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on engaging with customers.
