Job Description:


The Dietary Aide/Server provides above average hospitality services. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by BSG Maintenance location based on client requirements and business needs.


Dietary Aide Responsibilities:


  • Meal Service: Take orders and serve meals to residents.
  • Meal Prep: Helps with food prep as assigned. Stock serving areas. Set up dining areas.
  • Cleaning: Clean and sanitize all equipment, appliances, and work areas. Assist with cleaning of dining rooms. Utilize dishwasher appropriately and put away clean dishes. Light cleaning of common areas.
  • Food Storage: Ensures food and other items are stocked and stored properly. Maintain storage areas.
  • Reporting: Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor. Understand nutritional requirements for residents. Record drink temperatures and dish machine.
  • Resident Interaction: Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient and thorough services of all areas assigned. Maintain a professional relationship with co-workersother staff.


Required Qualifications:


  • At least 16+ years of age
  • Ability to use a dishwasher and record temperatures.
  • Ability to pass a TB Test and Healthcare background check.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
  • Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.
