Server/Cashier

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service, with experience in both serving and cashiering roles. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle cash transactions accurately, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
  
• Efficiently operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and cash handling.
  
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and guidelines while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
  
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
  
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines and food handling procedures.
  

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
  
• Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
  
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  
• Proven sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items effectively.
  
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
