Position Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused teammate to drive the development of innovative, impactful features in our software platform. This role will serve as a bridge between our customers, engineering team, and stakeholders-translating business needs into functional product features and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.


You’ll be responsible for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, managing the product backlog, collaborating cross-functionally, and presenting new releases both internally and externally. Your work will directly shape the experience and satisfaction of our users.

Pay Range: $78,000.00 - $128,000.00

Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, product owners, and managers) to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define and document functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.


2. Solution Design:


  • Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
  • Ensure solutions align with business goals and are feasible from a technical standpoint.
  • Participate in the design of business process changes and new systems or tools.


3. Stakeholder Communication:


  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of business needs and technical constraints.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather information and share progress updates.
  • Provide status reports and updates on project deliverables to stakeholders.


4. Process Improvement:


  • Identify areas where business processes can be optimized or automated.
  • Propose new processes, tools, or systems that can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously analyze current practices and processes, suggesting improvements and enhancements.


5. Data Analysis & Reporting:


  • Analyze data and provide insights that inform business decisions and improvements.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support decision-making.
  • Use business intelligence tools to extract and analyze data from internal systems.


6. Quality Assurance & Testing:


  • Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
  • Work with QA teams to ensure that solutions are thoroughly tested and meet business needs.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with the resolution of issues that arise during testing.


7. Documentation & Training:


  • Document business requirements, process flows, system specifications, and other relevant materials.
  • Assist in the development of user manuals, training materials, and knowledge articles.
  • Provide training and support to business users as new systems or processes are rolled out.


Qualifications:


Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor�s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience in analyzing business processes, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN, Agile).


Certifications:


  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO) is beneficial.


Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex business problems and propose actionable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in documenting requirements and creating user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling, system design, and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.


Minimum Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
