Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the Senior Director of Product Management, Research Solutions will lead our Research Solutions product portfolio, inclusive of Site CTMS, Protocol Digitization, and Trial Matching & Marketplace. In this critical role, the Senior Director will define and execute the product strategy across the Verily offerings that power faster, better, and more cost effective clinical trials for both sponsors and sites, leveraging Verily’s Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) and precision health platform.
A critical component of this role involves managing Verily’s site CTMS solution and aligning our broader Research Solutions with addressing the needs of pharma sponsors through Verily’s platform technologies. The Senior Director will lead a team to build a trial marketplace, connecting health systems and AMC trial sites more directly with pharma sponsors through protocol digitization, data curation, and workflow automation.
The Senior Director will partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Medical, and Scientific teams to translate complex research needs into compelling product features. The individual will also partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure our solutions meet market demands and drive successful adoption.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision* Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Research Solutions, aligning with company goals and market opportunities.
Product Development & Execution* Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration, working closely with Engineering and design teams using agile methodologies.
Technology Platform Integration* Close partnership with our Platform and Data Product Management teams to understand and articulate the value proposition of data connectivity and interoperability for our research solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration* Engineering: Serve as the primary product liaison, ensuring clear communication of requirements, especially concerning integration points, and fostering a collaborative development process.
Market & Industry Expertise* Stay abreast of evolving trends, regulatory guidelines and technological advancements in RWD/RWE, data privacy (HIPAA, GDPR), clinical research, and health tech, with a keen eye on interoperability standards and health data exchange protocols.
Team Leadership & Mentorship* Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or health-related field. MBA or advanced degree (MS, PhD) in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
Preferred qualifications:* Experience with data science platforms, machine learning frameworks, and cloud-based AI services relevant to healthcare data.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $256,000 -$352,500 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
