Key Responsibilities


  • Install and service low voltage systems, including intercom, card access, intrusion detection, and CCTV.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and perform diagnostics with minimal supervision.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Work on Ethernet-based systems including AiPhone, Honeywell, and Securakey platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Travel to job sites across Northern IL, NW Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin in a company-provided vehicle.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Maintain and properly use hand tools, test equipment, and smart devices.


Qualifications


  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with intercom, access control, intrusion, and CCTV systems.
  • Proficiency with Ethernet-based and Honeywell systems is required.
  • Required experience with AiPhone, Honeywell, and Securakey systems
  • IL PERC Card (or the ability to acquire, the company will pay for certification).
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have own hand tools.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills; fluent in English.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • INS. Citizenship or legal residency required.
  • Additional experience with systems like Openpath, Telecor, Valcom, DuKane, Rauland, and clock or sound systems is a plus.

Schedule


  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday
  • Some weekend work may be required
