As a

Security Professional - Distribution Center - Afternoon Shift in Hanahan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. Pay Rate: $16.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
  
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to support a secure and orderly environment.
  
• Assist with implementing site-specific security-related policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  
• Customer service experience is preferred.
  
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
