As a

Security Officer -Front Desk - Afternoon Shift in North Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with inquiries to help create a secure and comfortable environment. You will remain visible at the front desk, helping to deter security-related incidents through your attentive and approachable demeanor. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are key, as you will interact regularly with residents, guests, and property management. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
  
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
  
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address inquiries and provide assistance.
  
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when necessary.
  
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and observation at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
