- Hours range from 6 am to 4:30 pm (Schedule to be determined at interview.)
Performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of:
- Park Grounds
- Sports Fields
- Irrigation Systems
- Trails
- Open space
- Urban Forestry
- Maintaining and cleaning restrooms and pavilions
- Helping with Events (includes some weekends)
- Experience preferred in caring for grounds with a wide range of skills.
- Including, but not limited to, general landscaping and irrigation work.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to communicate.
- Ability to learn to operate and maintain maintenance equipment such as mowers, chain saws, pruning equipment, and hand tools.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers, and the public.
- Must pass a background and drug test.
