Windsong Farm Golf Club is a private 36 hole Golf Club located in Independence MN. We pride ourselves on creating an inviting and laid back atmosphere that has impeccable service and hospitality.
Windsong Farm Golf Club's clubhouse is open year round for drinks and food. Our busy time is the months between May and November during golf season. Windsong Farm Golf Club hosts many events out on the course and in the clubhouse.
We are seeking a skilled Seasonal Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the a scratch kitchen and possess a passion for creating delicious dishes. We are looking for someone available for middle and morning shifts weekdays and weekends. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with knife handling and culinary techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in menu planning and food handling procedures
