The Kentucky Castle is a unique boutique hotel and farm-to-table restaurant located in the heart of Central Kentucky. We are seeking an enthusiastic pool side server to join our team at The Kentucky Castle. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing their overall experience during their stay or visit. This is a seasonal position lasting through the remainder of our pool season (late September), however outstanding applicants may be invited to continue on with the company in other service roles when the season has ended.
- Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to our standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Anticipating all pool guest's needs.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Passion for mixology and creating unique beverage experiences.
