Use assessment data regarding the student and his/her environment in developing appropriate interventions and programs;Work closely with teachers and teams to enhance critical skills, including conducting formative assessments, interpreting data, creating intervention plans, and making data-based determinations about the efficacy of interventions.Participate as a member of the Evaluation Team and IEP Team, scheduling and maintaining records to ensure compliance as needed.Maintain case records and follow referral and tracking procedures.Assist with the coordination/management of the Team of Qualified Professionals for IEP and Evaluations Team Meetings with support from the Team Secretary, which includes taking minutes or assigning a member to take minutes, supporting case managers in scheduling meetings, and keeping the meeting on topic and conversation flowing. Participate as a member of the multi-tiered support system (MTSS) team. Participate in planning and/or implementation of school or district-level crisis response teams;Consult and collaborate with other school personnel to gather and give information on a case and establish and plan for respective roles in modifying a students behavior. Keep sufficient records of the cases to meet state regulation requirements, document status as needed, providing staff with up-to-date management and assessment data.Provide counseling to students as individuals and/or groups while consulting teachers regarding this area.Collaborate and host with intern candidates from Rhode Island College through the CF/RIC Innovation Lab Partnership Adhere to requirements and state and federal laws regarding students with disabilities and professional ethics and standards of school psychology;Confer and consult with teachers, staff, families, and outside agencies about strategies to facilitate the social and affective needs of students;Assist in the implementation of district programs and curriculum to support student behavioral and academic success;Assist in interpreting outside evaluations such as neuropsychological, clinical psychological, and psychiatric assessments as appropriate;Engage in professional development opportunities for school psychologists;Perform other related duties as required by the building administrator or Director of Student Services
