Overview: The School-Age Childcare Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the school age child care site and will plan, lead, and evaluate group experiences.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Obtain and update all registrations, contracts, release forms, and emergency forms that pertain to administration of the school age child program at the site.
Plan, develop, supervise, and implement the program activities and curriculum at the site.
Oversee safe and accessible transportation of all youth to and from the Site each day.
Complete and maintain required program records such as attendance, daily schedules, meals and all rosters.
Keep families informed of programming information, highlights and youth accomplishments.
Make ongoing systematic observations and evaluations of each child.
With support from the School-Age Childcare Director, monitor and schedule all Childcare site staff hours and schedules, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and appropriate budget management.
Assist with the promotion of the school age child care programs within the community.
Qualifications:
Must be 18+ and have an Associate�s Degree or sixty college credit hours, with 18 of them in a field relating to education, child development, human services, or recreation from an approved and accredited institution or higher education.
Must have a valid driver�s license and obtain/maintain a chauffer�s license.
Successfully pass all BCI requirements.
Must have at least 2 years of experience working with children.
Must be or become certified in First Aid and CPR.
